Matric answersheet evaluation misses


CUTTACK: In another debate for the jinxed matriculation evaluation this season, the Panel of Additional Knowledge (BSE) seems to be in clean problems as it has never finish the assessment of answersheets of matriculation evaluation within the set time, increasing worry of wait in book of outcomes.

The board, performing the matriculation examination in the condition, had set May 12 as the timeline to finish the assessment of answersheets, but the timeline has now been prolonged to May 15.

"Most of the educational institutions, where assessment of response linens was being done, were designated as examination organisations for the examinees of Odisha Combined Access Examination and train recruiting board. Consequently, the assessment perform was impacted. But we are assured of finishing the procedure by May 15," said Satyakam Mishra, chief executive of the board.

He assured there will be no wait in book of outcomes, however. "We are trying our best to submit the outcomes by the other day of May or by first weeks duration of September," Mishra said.

The assessment of answersheets had began from May 1 at nearly 71 organisations across the condition. Over 21,000 instructors are engaged in the procedure of assessing answersheets of 5.11 lakh examinees.
